I was trying to tone down my colors in this painting. The bird is the focal point and with the most color.
Update: 3/15/08-Painting sold Daily DeviationGiven 2008-03-23SunKing by ~Artgoddessmama I was looking around for a feature for Easter Sunday, and came across this artist, looked at her gallery and this piece really appealed to me. I love the bird/sun king motif and I feel symbolises for me the transition from winter to spring and new hopes, ideas, dreams, aspirations. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
